'Space Is The Place' is a four track EP from one of Iceland's most hard working producers Áskell. In a wave of newcomers that emerged into the scene around ten years ago, Áskell quickly made a good name for himself as a dedicated house DJ in the exciting Reykjavik electronic scene and eventually founded the label BORG.

In Áskell's own words the tracks were a product of experimenting in the studio where he's been evolving his sound for the past years.

The EP starts out with a lovely dreamy vibe as 'Space Is The Place' and 'Dimono’ make good use of some of Áskell's synths. The last two tracks on the EP provide bangers for the late night. 'Uwah' is a wonky techy tune made in collaboration with one of BORG's co-founders Ómar E. and 'Straum' goes full techno with what can be perceived as haunting, hovering chords over a modular type of a beat.

We're truly happy to have one of our closest friends on the label, and we're excited to see what the Tales catalogue has to bring in the forthcoming year.
