The second but long awaited EP from one of Lagaffe Tales founders Viktor Birgiss is finally coming your way. We could say that the EP is the result of the long Icelandic winter. Ljosaskipti, which translates into "change of light" is about the winter time and the change of sceneries.
With the shorter days and longer nights the population go through some sort of shedding in order to cope with the everlasting darkness. All is not lost though, Ljosaskipti offers a vision of the beautiful side of the Icelandic winter. Snow and northern lights fill the sky and the anticipation for the summer pops into mind once in a while. Haglel is a more harder and unforgiving offspring of the cold and the name derives from a certain weather type, hail. We feel like it’s only right to release this at this time, for this is truly production of the Icelandic winter.
